Moral Relativism vs. Moral Absolutes -
Education in the Cultural-Ideological War

Nazi policy for
the education of young people from primary schools pupils to
university students was subtle but not very complicated: steer
them away from traditional morality and replace those
"old-fashioned" concepts with Nazi philosophy. Nazi
immorality was different from the immorality encountered today
on the campuses across America and also in Europe. But both are
anti-Christian and their common aim is to create a new type of
pleasure or glory seeking person who can be manipulated and used
for the purposes of the manipulators of power.
We young Germans
in the Nazi time were taught to hate and to be tough; we were
taught that Christianity is something for weaklings and old
women. Today young people are encouraged to engage in sexual
promiscuity. They are told that the question of what is right or
wrong depends on their own perception of it and that there is no
absolute right or wrong. "Situation ethics" is the
high sounding description of what is nothing but moral
depravity. President Clinton demonstrated that concept in
practice when he engaged in a sexual relationship in his office
with an employee half his age, lied under oath about it, and
then claimed that that saved the constitution. He still can see
nothing wrong with his behavior, and neither can the millions of
Americans who continue to champion him. Add to Clinton’s
personal conduct his support for partial-birth abortion, his
promotion of homosexuality and his appeasement of totalitarian
leaders - just to name a few of his characteristic policies -
and a picture emerges that illustrates in gruesome detail the
end result of modern American education, including the education
of American leaders.
When I drove
through Cuba a number of years ago I was shown beautiful and
modern schools in every village - an expression of the
importance the Cuban government attaches to education, a guide
proudly explained to me. That did not impress me very much,
because I knew that the end product of these schools is usually
an atheist with a relative "morality", groomed to be
an instrument of the Communist state. The Cuban regime’s
purpose and praxis are no different from those of the Nazis -
the Castroites have just been at it more than 40 years.
Given my
experience with the political uses of education it struck me as
strange that, in the televised debates of the two presidential
candidates George W. Bush and Al Gore talked about many aspects
of education - funding it, measuring it, controlling it - but
not about the substance of it. Yet everybody knows that the
outcome of the election is decisive for the appointment of
Supreme Court justices. And the court’s godless decisions on
school prayer and abortion, to name only two, have had a
devastating effect on the substance of the education for
generations of students as well as for society as a whole. That
has to be reversed if America is to survive as a free nation and
only godly people should be appointed to that court.
Legislation
destroying the fabric of American society did not come about by
itself and over night. There is a sinister reason behind it.
When the Nazis captured Germany in 1933 the Institute of Social
Research - founded 1924 in Frankfurt and modeled on the Marx-Engels
Institute in Moscow - picked up and moved to New York. It’s
principal ideologists were Marxists Herbert Marcuse, Max
Horckheimer, Jurgen Habermas and Theodor W.. Adorno, their
teachings resembled those of Italian communist Antonio Gramsci,
The transplanted intellectuals lost no time in launching their
cultural-ideological assault on this country, and they pursued
it unremittingly, inflicting a tremendous impact on whole
generations of students including the generation of Bill and
Hillary Clinton. Other Frankfurt School pupils include German
chancellor Gerhard Schroder, German foreign minister Joschka
Fischer, British prime minister Tony Blair, his political
adviser Anthony Giddens and French prime minister Lionel Jospin.
Another is feminist Betty Friedan.
The objective of
the Frankfurt School intellectuals and their students is to
destroy free society and establish a socialist - read:
totalitarian - system of government. They expanded the
traditional Marxist enemies list to encompass all civil and
cultural institutions of Western society such as schools,
universities, the family, the church, private foundations, and
others. Abandoning the Marxist/Leninist revolutionary concept of
taking over government from outside, by force if necessary, they
settled in favor of a new methodology: taking over the media and
other social and political institutions, destroying the morals
of the people, penetrating their minds, and disconnecting them
from their traditions. All of it is aimed at generating forces
from within that will culminate in the destruction of the
existing social order. The penetration of the education system
by this concept of immorality is the most devastating
consequence of this ruthless assault on society.
Additionally,
according to the late Major General Jan Sejna, free society was
attacked in its moral substance and subverted by a coordinated
strategy of all Communist governments. Sejna was a member of the
Czechoslovakian Central Committee of the Communist Party, a
member of Parliament and its presidium, first party secretary at
the ministry of defense (where he was also chief of staff), a
member of the Minister's Council, and most importantly of all,
secretary of the Defense Council, the top decision-making body
in matters of defense, foreign policy, intelligence, and
economy. He was a central player in the establishment of the
structures for the unfolding penetration of American and Western
societies with drugs and represented Czechoslovakia in the
meetings with the Soviet Security Council. Sejna defected in
1968 and is on record about what I state here. Joseph D.
Douglass describes the details of this warfare with drugs in his
book Red Cocaine.
Mao Tse-tung
adopted a drug strategy for political purposes back in 1928. The
Soviets jumped on the bandwagon in the fifties. At the end of
1955, the Soviet Defense Council approved the guidelines for the
drug war against the United States, and in 1962 Khrushchev made
it official government policy for all Eastern European countries
as well. He made schools and universities priority targets so as
to corrupt the future leaders of the enemy country and stressed
the need to undermine the American work ethic, pride, and
loyalty with drugs. "Anything that speeds the destruction
of capitalism is moral," he declared, explaining that tanks
were only needed after deception and disinformation campaigns
had succeeded and the destruction of the moral fiber of
capitalist society had advanced satisfactorily. Since communists
with the same philosophy and objectives are in power in Russia
today I am pretty sure that the drug assault continues unabated.
We have to
understand the nature of the cultural-ideological war which is
not about morals in the first place. Power is the principle
issue. God, our creator, is not only love and truth he is above
all power - hence the reference to the ‘almighty’. The war
we are in is for control and power like any other war but
morality is the battlefield. This is an important distinction.
It holds the key to understanding the present state of American
and Western society. The battle line goes through every nation.
Some countries like for instance the United States, Germany,
Chile are divided right down through the middle - on the surface
by political party but underneath by ideology. The weapon in
this war for those who love America is not guns and missiles but
truth. The enemy is the lie.
What I say is
not complicated. If you want to eliminate the power of God in a
nation in order to take over yourself the way to succeed is to
launch false philosophies and implement laws which destroy the
connections of people to God’s moral commandments and entice
them to give in to their lusts and ambitions. Such people can be
manipulated. That is the underlying philosophy for the creators
of a secular multicultural society; all of them are liars with
their own power as a hidden agenda. The essence of the war now
raging is: almighty God vs. almighty man - absolute moral
standards versus moral relativism, God’s absolute truth vs.
the lie. The assault is being carried out by morally depraved
people and has been successful because Western nations have no
other purpose then self and politicians refuse to face
themselves and reality. Therefore they shrink from entering the
moral arena.
I have lived
through the Nazi nightmare and I have also seen the destruction
of human substance and faith in the part of Germany ruled by the
Communists after the war. I know how the deception works and how
beautiful words and attractive programs hide the evil intentions
and the real purposes underneath.
As every parent
knows, education is not just about filling up the mind with
knowledge but also about creating young men and women with
character who know how to live with other people. When I was a
student of economics at Hamburg University I cheated in each and
every exam. My life was full of lies. Then a friend helped me to
face the truth about myself and change. I apologized to all of
my professors, I made restitution where I had harmed others, and
I decided never to lie or cheat again but stand up and fight for
truth. To win the cultural-ideological war in America and in the
whole world we must defeat the lie, beginning in one’s own
life, and establish the absolute truth of God as the basis for
every human relationship.
I believe that
America was born as a nation in order to make one precious thing
a reality for all nations: freedom. If we don’t fight the
battle for truth it won’t only be the rest of the world that
loses the American promise of freedom. Americans will lose it,
too.
